David Hsu joined IHS in October 2011 as the General Manager of Greater China. He leads the sales organization and is responsible for revenue target achievement, business growth and operation setup to meet company’s strategic goals in the region. David oversees the comprehensive IHS portfolio sales in China, Taiwan and Hong Kong. He also acts as the primary representative of IHS to local industry and community in this geo market. Besides of his business responsibility, David also coordinates the leadership team across IHS sites in Greater China to ensure maximum team collaboration and colleague engagement. Prior to joining IHS, David had 20 years of working experience with several multinational companies in semiconductor industry in the region of Asia Pacific (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea & Southeast Asian countries) where he gained strong experience in sales/marketing functions covering broad range of product lines. Besides of that, he also has experiences in other aspects including establishing business model, managing operation flow, new product development and set up long-term strategic directions for a start-up company.David received his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Syracuse University in New York, U.S.A.
