Mr. Bernie Stefan is Head of Strategy&Business Development for Nestlé in the Greater China Region, a role he assumed in November 2012. Nestlé China, the second largest market for the Nestlé Group, has 35 factories, two R&D centers, more than 50,000 employees, and a US$7 billion business portfolio in the Greater China Region. Mr. Stefan joined the Nestlé Group in 2000 in the Nestlé Waters M&A team in Paris. In 2002, he was promoted to Deputy Director M&A and in 2004 transferred to the Nestlé waters Direct business, where he held various roles in operations, sales and logistics management in Germany, Switzerland and Italy. He became Country Business Manager for Nestlé Waters Direct Germany in2006. Mr. Stefan was born in September 1973. He is an Austrian citizen and speaks German, English and French. He is Married with 2 Children and enjoys skiing, cycling and triathlon.
