Hengming Yang is currently President of BP China and Chairman of BP (China) Holdings Ltd. Edward joined BP in 2001 as deputy CFO for BP PetroChina Retail JV, and subsequently was the China Retail Business’s Strategy Planning & Performance Manager, general manager for the BP Sinopec Retail JV, President of China Retail Business as well as Chief Representative of BP China’s Shanghai office, Downstream Simplification Director at BP’s global headquarters in London, and the President of BP China and Chairman of BP (China) Holdings Limited. Prior to BP, Edward worked for DaimlerChrysler South East Asia (Singapore), McDonalds Corp (USA) and Minmetals Group (Beijing, USA). Edward graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Business from the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing) in 1989 and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management (USA) in 1996. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and a Certified Financial Manager (CFM).
