Nina Wang – joined Johnson Controls just recently in May 2015, heading the company’s government relations function. She will serve as a member of the Enterprise Leadership Team (ELT) and Johnson Controls APAC leadership team. In this role, Nina will lead and coordinate government and Party relationships and management for Johnson Controls in China. She will ensure that Johnson Controls works constructively with government bodies in line with our business strategies and commitments to the environment and sustainability. Nina started her career in Beijing Municipal Government where she held positions of increasing responsibility as a Program Officer and Deputy Division Chief for the Sister City Program Office from 1985 to 1992. In 1993 she was transferred to the Division of International Affairs as its Chief in the Foreign Affairs Office. In 2000 she moved to the Olympic Bid Committee as the Deputy Director General, External Relations. She played an instrumental role in their successful bid for “Beijing 2008 Olympics” campaign. Following the successful bid campaign in 2001, Nina left government for a position with Nokia (China) Investment Co. Ltd., where she held several positions as Business Development Manager, Government Relations Manager, and Senior Government Relations Manager and culminated in her assignment as the Head of Government Relations for Nokia China and Nokia Capital Telecommunications Co. Ltd. – a joint venture company.
